Championship co-ordinator Eve Lake-Grange awarded prestigious Henry Ford Trophy

F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost Co-ordinator Eve Lake Grange was awarded the prestigious Henry Ford Trophy for 2019 at last weekend’s BRSCC Awards.

The award was commissioned by Ford Motor Company to recognise the individual they believe has shown extraordinary human endeavour throughout the year.

Throughout last season, Eve continued to perform her duties as Championship co-ordinator to the same exceptionally high standards whilst battling serious illness, astounding the entire paddock with her courage, determination and dedication to her role through difficult times.

She was presented with her trophy to great acclaim at last weekends annual BRSCC Awards at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford upon Avon.

“While the road ahead was going to be tough, the love and support of her racing driver husband Jake, her two sons Hayden and Monty, her family and all of her friends and colleagues helped her push through her treatment,” commented BRSCC Chairman, Peter Daly.

“Through it all, she has soldiered on in her championship co-ordinator role, ably supported by her teammates Jess and Flo, and is set to spearhead another superb season in 2020 as a crucial part of the RacingLine team.

“A quote from her team’s social media sums up just how valuable she is – “Without her, there would be no British F4”.

Eve joins previous recipients of the Henry Ford Trophy, including 2015 & ’16 champions Lando Norris and Max Fewtrell, Billy Monger and Sharp Motorsport among others.

“I’m honoured and proud to have been chosen as this year’s recipient of the Henry Ford Trophy,” she said.

“I’d like to put on record a huge ‘thank you’ to my family, friends and all my colleagues for their support through some difficult times.

“And also to everybody at the BRSCC Awards last weekend for all their support and well-wishes – I’m looking forward to another fantastic year of racing in 2020.”
