Mobil 1™, the world’s leading synthetic motor oil brand, is known for its long-standing presence at the highest levels of motorsport. The partnership marks a major step for Chadwick, who will race with IDEC Sport —2019 ELMS Team Champions— as part of the Genesis Magma Project. Her car, race suit, and helmet will prominently feature the Mobil 1™ logo throughout the season.
Chadwick has also been named an official Mobil 1™ ambassador and made her debut in this role during the brand’s International Women’s Day event in Houston, Texas, on March 26.
“I’m thrilled to have Mobil 1™ on board for what’s shaping up to be a very competitive season in ELMS and Le Mans,” said Chadwick. “Endurance racing has always been a goal of mine, and having such strong backing for this step in my career is incredible.”
Earlier this month, Chadwick made history by becoming the first female driver to win in the LMP2 class at the ELMS, taking victory at the season opener—the 4 Hours of Barcelona on April 6.
Off the track, Chadwick will also take on a new role in 2025 as a pundit for Sky Sports F1, further cementing her status as a leader in the sport.
The next round of the ELMS is scheduled for May 4 with the 4 Hours of Le Castellet.
